Canary Landing is poised to be one of Toronto’s most liveable neighbourhoods. It is surrounded by natural and built wonders, and is exceptionally placed beside Toronto’s Distillery District. It is under development by partners Tricon Residential, Dream and Kilmer Group and was designed by Toronto firm Architect’s Alliance and Danish firm COBE. Whitman Emorson was tasked with helping this community develop its character and unique proposition within the ever-changing Toronto real estate market. Every brand element was designed to situate the community at the meeting place of city and nature.

Every brand element was designed to situate the community at the meeting place of city and nature. The logo balances a strong and sturdy structure, evocative of the architecture and industrial elements. An expanded colour palette was used to differentiate between the community’s four distinct houses. From the logo to the prime mark to the brand pattern, we incorporated openings and airy features found in nature, suggesting a symbiotic relationship.
